Transit Authority of River City (TARC) Purchasing Department is responsible for purchasing all goods and services required by TARC. These goods and services are obtained through spot purchases and competitive bidding.

TARC's Purchasing Department is dedicated to ensuring full and open competition and equitable treatment of all potential sources of the procurement process. It is TARC's policy that all Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's) have an opportunity to participate in our procurement process.

The Purchasing Department believes that our vendors are key cornerstone of TARC's procurement business and our ability to provide safe reliable transportation service.
