Festivals and Community Events
TARC puts a priority on being a good community partner and would like to attend every event in the region. However, given the emphasis on keeping costs low and fares affordable, we must prioritize events that have the potential to reach current and future TARC riders. We are unable to attend every event but please be assured we will do our best to accommodate all requests.
This is a free service but must be scheduled two week in advance of the desired date.
At times, a bus will not be available for the event, but a TARC representative will be able to bring materials to share with the crowd. We will inform you no later than seven days before the event if TARC will be able to bring a bus. TARC does not traditionally pay for booth space or sponsorship in events although we do partner with events to ensure both the event and the organization receive the most benefit from participation.
Only events located within the TARC service area (Jefferson, Bullitt, and parts of Oldham counties in Kentucky and Floyd and Clark counties in Indiana) will be considered.
