Regarding a Coach Operator Testing Positive for COVID-19

On April 4, 2020, TARC confirmed a positive test result of COVID-19 for a Coach Operator. This operator last worked on March 27, 2020. The driver became ill March 30, 2020.

The bus operator drove Route 10 from 12:20 p.m. until 9:22 p.m. on the day of March 27, 2020. TARC is suggesting anyone who rode this route on March 27, 2020 monitor themselves for possible symptoms. If symptoms occur isolate yourself and self-treat at home. If you become seriously ill, contact your healthcare provider. If you experience a medical emergency, seek treatment as you would in any other medical emergency. All TARC riders should be practicing social distancing at all times to avoid exposing themselves and others while on or off TARC buses.

TARC continues to operate for “essential services only.”  Unless obtaining necessary supplies and services to sustain your life and the lives of others, or traveling to and from employment in an “essential business” that is “necessary to sustain life,” you should remain at home.

DO NOT TRAVEL ON TARC DURING THIS TIME UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY
