Kentuckiana Mentors

TARC and ATU Local 1447 are excited to announce a mentorship program to help new Coach Operators! Mentors will be assigned Coach Operator graduates and help support them throughout their first year at TARC. This program is aimed to help develop soft skills of new drivers so that they may better handle challenges they face each day.

Coach Operators interested in becoming a mentor should fill out the below application. Coach Operators that sign up are vetted through set criteria:

• Must be here at least one year
• No more than 3 lose outs in the last year
• No discipline, safety violations, or customer service complaints in the last year
